Reading on Ecologies and Economies, London Art Book Fair

Evening Class were invited to run a reading group as part of The London Art Book Fair 2018. We decided to link the reading with our current design and research project – working on the visual identity for a community academy in Rovereto, Italy – by choosing a text written by one of the projects initiating groups Brave New Alps.

The text (Commons & community economies: entry points to design for eco-social justice?) introduces commoning and rethinking what constitutes economies as both practical and theoretical pedagogic frameworks with which to mobilise the role of the designer towards practises of eco-social justice.
