At the beginning of March we hosted a free screening of Hyperstition, a film by Christopher Roth in collaboration with Armen Avanessian. Hard to summarise what the film is about but to quote, its "a film on time and narrative. Of thoughts and images. On plants and the outside. Abduction and Recursion. Yoctoseconds and Platonia. Plots and anaerobic organisms. About the movement of thinking and philosophy in anthropology, art, design, economy, linguistics, mathematics, and politics. And back into abstraction". Its an entertaining watch that we suspect is very self aware of itself and the subject matter.
For a small fee you can hire the film via Vimeo for 48 hours and watch again and again. Go to www.hyperstition.org for more.
